Re: Snow Queen
I note with interest that Kimberley was not able to purchase a programme to this magical current production presented by the Graduate Dramatic Society at the Dolphin Theatre UWA. I assure you that a very detailed programme featuring other Hans Andersen stories is available - and contains all the information Kimberley was seeking. It is a lovely production and with one week to go we still have too many seats to sell. Indeed we would like to invite families who cannot afford the $34 family ticket (for 2 adults & 2 children) to attend as our guests on Friday 11th December at 12.15. As schools break up that day we have some seats we would love them to fill. If you know of a worthy group who might be interested to take up this offer please ring me on 9385 1205 by Thursday and I'll try to accommodate them.Sadly GDS has made the mistake of skimping on its Promotions budget and people just don't know it's on. This is desperately sad as it is a beautiful production, a true magical fairy story designed to appeal to children of Pre-Primary/Primary-school age. Mind you, last Saturday we entertained a Dad who had not been allowed to read Fairy Stories as a child. He was wrapped! And made a point of telling FOH that he had discovered his lost childhood.Bring a child along as your excuse to enjoy this rare opportunity to see a Hans Andersen story presented on stage. Bookings are on 9399 3455 and the show closes on Saturday. Performance times Wednesday & Friday at 10am and 12.30pm; Thursday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm. Delight a child for Christmas and support Grads who bravely use a 'Professional' venue to re-create some much-needed Theatre magic.Pat>> I saw GRADS lovely Snow Queen today.
