An Ideal Role
Thu, 26 Jan 2006, 01:58 pmPartly to get everyone who has been distracted from what this site is really for, but I would like to pose a two part question to the general theatrical populus.
1. If you could be cast in ANY stage role, what would it be?
2. If you could direct any play, regardless of cost, what would it be?
For me it would be:
1: Gallileo Figaro from We Will Rock You
2: A Streetcar Named Desire (or Luck of the Draw, when i finish writing it.)
Have a good day!!

Glad to see something fun, and interesting, and (touch wood) unlikely to cause any silly arguments.
1. Stage roles are suject to change depending on what I'm working on, but at the moment it would be a toss-up between Joanna (from COMPANY by Sondheim) or Cathy (from THE LAST FIVE YEARS by Jason Robert Brown)
2. As a director, I'd love to take on Kiss Me Kate by Cole Porter or something lovely and simple like I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
