Our Fine Finley Host
Tue, 24 Jan 2006, 07:04 pmCongratulations to Craig Williams who did an excellent job of hosting the Finley's!
I am often on this website reading various posts here and there but barely ever replying or posting my own, I have always read what Mr Williams has had to say (and that is quite a lot as we all know). So when I found out Narnia was to be performing at the awards I was extremely excited and also looking forward to putting a face to the name! It was a great night and so much fun, just to support your club and watch the other performances is a great experience (as is anticipating what side our host would pop out on next!) I think Mr Williams was a wonderful host, very entertaining and down to earth which made the night more enjoyable. I was very surprised to find out at the end of the night we had parked our car next to our host! I had a nice chat with him and now I can read all the bulletins on the website and put a face to the always typing crgwllms.
Thankyou for making the night so great!

Re: Our Fine Finley Host
I think the girl in the red dress has had too much red cordial! Or is "Narnia" your new nickname crg? I suppose it could be because you've lost most of your mane as well.

I'd be lion if I denied having lost the main part of my mane....
I think perhaps 'the girl in the red dress' was there either performing in Narnia, or supporting the Stirling Theatre, which is mainly why she was excited.
Thanks, Kathleen. I'm glad you enjoyed the night, and it was good of you to mention it. Nice to have met you.
Cheers,
Craig

Re: Mane event?
As the director of "narnia", I can assure sure that the sweet little girl in the red dress was indeed the very evil, gruesome looking wolf, who had the howl from hell!
Its amazing what a transformation a pretty dress makes eh!
But yes, I have to agree with Kathleen, you did an awesome job of hosting.
My only regret is, that since we were the first performance on the night, we missed the brilliant version of "Broadway". Any chance of you putting it out on CD Craig???
And, quit the "Narnia" jokes, ok!!!!!
