position as Executive Producer ABC Newsroom in Darwin on January 9, 2006.
It follows the appointment of his wife Margaret as Director-General
Education of the Northern Territory. Ron leaves in three weeks.
The appointment of a replacement Arts Editor is now under consideration
and may be announced later today or tomorrow.
