DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
Tue, 15 Nov 2005, 07:02 amAre you a fan of action movies? I hear on the grapevine that Melville's next production, "Death By Chocolate" has more guns waved around than The Terminator series!
And the size of the cast (well, at least one of them) is hard to believe!
Go see it!

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
I didn't think that sort of violence was used in these drawing-room mysteries!
I suppose if your gun 'jams', you can eat it?

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
Yeah, heard some of those Uzi packin Suzies put on "Death by Kareoke" down at the local tavern, to tumultuous applause. If that'st anything to go by then don't miss the real thing, I mean "Death by Chocolate" Starts this Thursday Nov 17th at Melville.

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
I've tried googling this play. Is it American or English? The sense of humour can be quite different. So can the chocolate. (I prefer Danish myself).

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
As far as I know it was originally American but has been translated into an English scenario. Even the American humor has been translated into humour (and will be well understood by Aussies too).
It is sooo funny I am wetting myself even while I write this message. No, I'm not embarrassed - after all I'm only 15 months old.

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
Is there any truth in the rumour that the chocolate in question is actually a 'violent crumble'?

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
I understand Gordon the Optomist is going to review this show. Apparently, there are one or two people at Melville who would like to compliment (or something) him on his past reviews!-)

Re: DEATH BY CHOCOLATE
Well I don't know about Gordon but I was at Melville last night for the opening of "Death By Chocolate" and it has to be one of the funniest plays I have experienced for a long time!
I thought all the cast did a wonderful job, particularly that guy, (can't remember his name) who played Alfred. What a trouper!
