Perth Actors Collective are pleased to announce the introduction of new weekly voice classes for actors and those wishing to hone their vocal skills, to be held on Mondays from 4pm- 6.30pm commencing Monday August 1st. These intensive voice lessons will be taught by experienced professional actor and voice teacher James Hagan. Read more about James' background on the 'Voice and the Actor' page of our website www.screenworkshop.com.au. The classes will explore techniques for actors to develop the instrument of their voice, discover ways to rectify impediments and touch on what is required to perfect an accent. Classes will be held at our Screen Studio, 1st Floor, 90 King St, Perth and are $209 for the 8 week course. Phone 93844604 to enrol or enrol via our website.
James Hagan - James has been an actor and voice teacher for the last thirty years. As an actor he has worked in Australia, England and Europe working in all areas of the entertainment industry. He has won the 1987 first prize for the best voice over at the New York radio festival and the 2004 Glugs award in Sydney for the best actor of the year for his role in the Ensemble production of “Lovers at Versailles”. As a voice teacher James has taught at NIDA, the Newtown School of Performing Arts and the NSW Education Department.
