Mon, 25 July 2005, 10:15 amWe are currently looking for a middle aged female actor to play the role of 'Edna' in the Curtin 3rd year short film, Family Tree.
Family Tree is a short film that explores a recently divorced father's struggle to connect with his 7 year old son.
EDNA (Grandmother)
A mother in her late fifties/early sixties, she felt the pain of her son during the last few years. She loves him, and her grandson, and wants only the best for them. A highly intelligent, pragmatic woman, she has many volumes of excellent advice for the world, but is smart enough to know that advice should never be offered, it should be asked for. Though she is ashamed at the way her son is handling his fatherhood, she will soldier on, as she always does.
