method vs method
Wed, 13 July 2005, 05:43 pmOut of pure curiosity, to those who are more versed in the field than I, may I ask:
What - if any - are the differences between the Stanislavsky Method and the Strasberg/Adler/Meissner Method?
Some people seem to think they are the same, and some see them as being very different. Are those of you out there with extensive knowledge of one or both prepared to offer their thoughts on this apparent conundrum?
Also, what does this forum have to say about the passionately vociferous antipathy that is commonly directed from the Method School towards the opposing "Representational" School, and vice versa?
Looking forward to an interesting discussion.
