RENT THE MOVIE
Wed, 4 May 2005, 01:10 amJust a quick note to say that apparently a movie version of RENT will be hitting the big screens in November 2005 and will be coming to our shores in December 2005.
Featuring much of the original cast members in the movie (Taye Diggs as Benny, Idina menzel as Maureen etc) it is directed by Christopher Colombus.
Does anyone else know anything about this?? If you do or have heard something along the line, please let me know.
Apparently (for those of you who know the show) Take Me Or Leave Me - the best song in the show - may not make it into the movie
