The Love Show story follows a bunch of miss-matched amateurs trying their luck at making a big-time television show dedicated to love. Frank Donaghue is the main character around whom the story is based. A young and energetic professional, Frank loses his fiancée as he is often more obsessed with his electronic gadgets rather then his relationship. Alone and spired on by his motivational CD's, Frank decides to make a TV show about Love, in an effort to win back his fiancée and prove that he is lovable. Frank assembles his crew, which proves to be more than he bargained for. An editor with an uncontrollable attraction for Frank; A sexy Prima Donna who, along with her casting agent, tries to de-rail the show by blackmailing Frank to pay up appearance fees; A retired film-maker taken on because he has the biggest camera; A drunken war veteran acting as a cinematographer and a hard nosed station co-ordinator with a god-father like attitude. Each crew member adds a hilarious dimension to Frank's Show. With this mix of colourful characters, a love triangle and Frank's driving motivation to complete the show at all costs, Frank eventually leads the crew from obscurity to the limelight! The Love Show is a unique frolic through the world of love and film-making, and it will have audiences laughing everywhere.

Re: Actors Wanted Romatic Comedy

Where is it being filmed????

Re: Actors Wanted Romatic Comedy

To answer your questions

I prefer actors 20+ however will consider all who have a professional & mature outlook. The film will be mostly likely be shot in WA early to mid 2005 on 35mm by internationally accredited film makers. And please note I'm looking for good actors, not spell checkers (but thanks for the offer anyway), My only advise for interested actors is concentrate on marketing your self as an actor. The more positions you apply for the greater chance you will have of a better career.

Re: Actors Wanted Romatic Comedy

To Mr Sharrinovsky

Ever since I was 5 I have been interested in becoming an actoress and I want to do something about it before it is too late.
I am 14 years old (15 in February), 158cm tall (5ft 3.2inches), 55kg, have natural brown hair with some blonde, blue/green eyes, pale skin but slightly tanned and have a fairly strong/muscly build.
I can play a piano/organ/keyboard fairly well, am a competent horse rider. I was champion girl in the athletics, swimming and cross country carnivals at my school for the last two years and received the dux award for my class for the last 4 years.
I have attached a photo of myself as of the 9th january 2005.
I hope you will consider me for a position in your Love Show romantic comedy.

Sincerely
Sascha Yates

If you don't mind saying so yourself.
I think there would be thousands of others in L.A. who say the same just waiting for that "big break".

I shall wait quietly with the proverbial baited breath.

Sounds fishy

"I shall wait quietly with the proverbial baited breath" - hmm, not *bated* breath, then?

Re: Actors Wanted Romatic Comedy

Wow! Sascha you look really old for 14, you could maybe try out for older roles cos you look that age.

Re: Actors Wanted Romatic Comedy

Hi Serge

do you need any younger actors? My son is 14 (not very tall so could pass for younger). He has been in a stage production of Oliver! at the Oxford Playhouse in the UK playing a boy from the workhouse and also one of Fagin's gang. He sings, dances and acts.

Any use to you?

Thanks

Graham
