Re: joy_kk06@yahoo.fr- Dont reply sounds like a money scam

Hi guys

I think this is a scam ready to happen, just be careful.

Just recently it's been on the news that people are trying to offer fake money to people by getting people to reveal their bank accounts details.

Please be weary and if you don't believe me contact the authorities who strongly advise people to not reply to scams offering money for nothing.

Re: Poll result - Curtain Call-Waiting

How do you behave in regard to your mobile phone in a theatre/film venue?

340 participants in 4 weeks.

Always turn it off 169 votes 50%
Switch it to silent but still leave it on 112 votes 33%
Don't have one/Leave it at home 24 votes 7%
Turn it off, but need to be reminded to 18 votes 5%
I'll take the call in the theatre 9 votes 2%
I don't bother turning it off 3 vote 0%
Still want to be able to SMS 2 votes 0%
Still want to take calls, but I'll leave the theatre 0 votes 0%

Seems just over half of us do the right thing, but there is a big third of us who still feel the need to be contactable. How much of this is legitimate use (a doctor expecting to be called out? a parent of a sick child expecting a panic call from their babysitter? If you're that anxious that you're about to be contacted, what are you wasting time in the theatre for?) and how much is just insecurity? What did we do before everyone had a portable phone? What is a 90 min silence going to disturb?

As for the ones who said they'd answer and talk in the theatre, thank goodness you're close to a 0% minority...although what a coincidence I've observed you several times lately?

You know, it's probably possible to look at the vote details, pick out the people that voted to talk on their mobile phone in the theatre, look up their computer addresses and....

just kidding!

Almost.

Cheers
Grant
