Hey everybody,

With all this excitement about the upcoming NIDA/WAAPA auditions, I'm curious to see if anyone has heard/auditioning for the LA SALLE College course in Singapore?

Let me know if you are! Would love to know who else is auditioning.

Re: joy_kk06@yahoo.fr- DONT REPLY THIS IS A MONEY SCAM

Hi guys

I think this is a scam ready to happen, just be careful.

Just recently it's been on the news that people are trying to offer fake money to people by getting people to reveal their bank accounts details.

Please be weary and if you don't believe me contact the authorities who strongly advise people to not reply to scams offering money for nothing.

Re: Anybody auditioning for La Salle College?

Hey Blake,

The auditions this year ARE for the 2005 July Intake since school years start in July in the northern hemisphere.

Apparently its not too late to apply and get an audition because an ad for LaSalle appeared in the West Australian last weekend.

LaSalle will be holding auditions in Perth on Nov 14th apparently so give Maureen Varis a call or email.

A new Musical Theatre & Acting Degree

LOL Dan - just keep the Bruschetta and Coke away from me...

Auditions for Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts (Singapore) is happening again.

The college is offering a B.A (Hons) for Musical Theatre and Acting.

LASALLE-SIA's Musical Theatre degree was created by Denis Folington, who was behind the development of the WAAPA Musical Theatre Course as well.

The Acting course is headed by Leith Taylor who also taught at WAAPA as well.

Both courses are practical-based and structured similarly to WAAPA and NIDA but with an East-Meets-West influence. We have international tutors coming through.

I'm currently in the 1st-year Acting course and we've got Australians, Kiwis, Belgians, Malaysians, Norwegians and Chinese students in our class. This is truly an international course!

If you're interested you can check out the website at http://www.lasallesia.edu.sg/ or email Maureen Varis at maureen.varis@lasallesia.edu.sg

Cheers!
