How often do you go out to the theatre?
175 participants in 2 weeks (compared to 195 for the movie poll)
A few times a week 65 votes 37% (movies 43 votes 22%)
once every few months 39 votes 22 % (movies 38 votes 19%)
few times a month 25 votes 14% (movies 32 votes 16%)
a couple of times a year 17 votes 9% (movies 20 votes 10%)
once a month 15 votes 8% (movies 37 votes 18%)
once every few years 6 votes 3% (movies 6 votes 3%)
once a week 4 votes 2% (movies 13 votes 6%)
once a year 2 votes 1% (movies 3 votes 1%)
never 2 votes 1 % (movies 3 votes 1%)
Essentially very little difference in our entertainment habits when it comes to going out to movies or theatre. The 'once a month' category dropped a bit when we go out to theatre. I'm surprised that 'a few times a week' rated as high as it did for theatre...there must be shows for us to see!
Of course, because the poll only asked about going out, it doesn't refer to the movie options we have at home on TV/VCR/DVD/Foxtell...
Will theatre ever be able to compete...LIVE home theatre...??
