All I can say is "Wow". Well done ITA committee and especially Kimberley Shaw and Melanie De Cull.

There was so much choice of workshops to attend but it was impossible to attend them all.

The workshops covered many different areas including: acting skills and techniques, technical skills, film and television, directing workshops, theatresports, stage fighting,
youth forum, specific youth information, practical stuff, and analysis of different styles of theatre.

My party of 5 attendees divided roughly into: acting skills, directing and youth, and technical, therefore covering a fair slice of the courses offered.

All the reports which came back were favourable, and so much information was gained and self-improvement.
I will not specifically crit any one workshop, because that would be unfair to all of the other fantastic workshops and presenters offered over the weekend.
I felt the ITA chose an excellent cross-section, all the speakers were very professional, and were certainly experts in their own field.

The two forms of entertainment included: a murder mystery party, which was lots of fun, and a superb performance of Yellow Glass Theatre's production of swallow.

If you have never been to any ITA training workshops before, or you are looking to develop your skills, then I highly recommend it in the future.

So, make sure you get yourself there next time it is presented.

Cheers,
Christine
