Aha Productions Inc. is staging the Australian premiere of Animal Farm, the George Orwell classic, adapted by Ian Wooldridge.

Opening Night is set to be BIG with industry representatives from NIDA, Lion King, Australia Council for the Arts, Channel 7, ABC, talent agents and the Asian-Australian community.

With a multicultural cast and Asian theatre aesthetics including Noh, Butoh, Kabuki and Karate, this is set to be a unique presentation. The cast have been directed by a NIDA directing graduate, guided by a NIDA creative team, and aided by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. This has been a great community achievement!!

Aha! Productions is a non-profit association established to encourage and develop performing arts opportunities, with a special interest in supporting Asian-Australian participation. Animal Farm is part of Aha!’s ‘Grassroots Program’, which encourages community participation and allows the development of emerging artists through mentorship from established artists.

In celebration of National Harmony Day, all tickets on 21 March are at a special price of $16!
