The Dark Poet continues his homage to our ladies of the theatre

Well I'll Be

When she finds herself directing musicals
The ones Kimberley Shaw wants to see
Rehearsing words of wisdom, well IÂ’ll be
And on the stage in darkness
She is standing right out front to see
Rehearsing words of wisdom, well IÂ’ll be
Well IÂ’ll be, well IÂ’ll be
What are those words of wisdom, coming from Kimberley?

And when other broken hearted contestants
Meeting in the bar agree
They demand an answer, no not her it should have been me
For though sheÂ’s produced a winner, thereÂ’s
Still a chance that they can see
As they chant their angry answer, no not her, it shouldÂ’ve been me

And though the finals night is rowdy
There is still a spotlight on Kimberley
Shining like thereÂ’s no tomorrow, well IÂ’ll be
She wakes up to the Sound of Music
Mother of Mary that sort of musicÂ’s not for me
But she certainly knows what sheÂ’s doing, well IÂ’ll be
Kimberley, Kimberley
All the work you do for theatre, well IÂ’ll be
Well IÂ’ll be, well IÂ’ll be
She speaks words of wisdom, letÂ’s here it for Kimberley
