Engaged on Stage!
Mon, 15 Dec 2003, 02:26 pmJoanne Williams and Michael Lamont of the WA Youth Theatre Company get engaged during the finale of the WAYTCO Christmas Show.
'Yes folks, at approximately 9:21pm at the Hyde Park Hotel, in front of 200 cheering and clapping audience members, Mr Lamont got down on one knee, put everything on the line, and got the answer he hoped for.'
'It was a X-mas show to remember as the entire cast screamed and cheered in delight as the couple embraced each other onstage, whilst audience members wept with joy, or with the romance, or simply because they wondered what was happening to modern entertainment.'
'Ms Williams said she was thrilled and amazed by the beauty of her engagement ring, and Mr Lamont was heard to comment, "I've just become American Express Customer-of-the-Month." '
'The directer of the show, Mrs Jenny Davis, said she was thrilled by the wonderful events of the evening, and wondered what she was going to do about next year's show.'
'The happy couple would like to announce that they went straight home for pizza and lemonade, and that Mr Lamont's stress headache evaporated after a good night's sleep.'
On a more serious note Joanne and myself would like to thank everyone who attended the show and supported us in our happiest moment.
Love and peace for the festive time, and indeed for all time.
Michael Lamont and Joanne Williams

good work, old man.
now im just wondering what queen tunes you'll be playing at the wedding... so many to choose from, tho i advise against 'sheer heart attack' and perhaps 'get down, make love' might be a good one for later, maybe. ;)
any rate, well done!
