Human Traffic
Thu, 27 Nov 2003, 03:17 pmThe weekend HAS landed.
Blak Yak Theatre's stage production of Human Traffic is up and running. As is often (and regrettably) the case, audiences were small (but enthusiastic) in the first week. The second week has commenced with much larger audiences and plenty of walk-ins. There are six performances left (Nov 27, 28, 29, Dec 3, 4, 5) and it's starting to get crowded.
Proudly sponsored by Kosmic Sound & Lighting, Human Traffic has recreated a nightclub atmosphere on stage. Appropriately sited in the middle of Northbridge, I can honstly say I've never seen a lights & sound rig (for a non-professional production) as impressive as this one. Check the What's On page for details, or this flyer which I've hopefully correctly attached....

Re: Human Traffic
I saw the show on Friday night (28th) and thought it was great!
The atmosphere created with sound and lighting pre-show (and during) was awsome!
Well done to all those involved!
If you haven't already seen it, I urge y'all to check it out! :)

Re: Human Traffic
We've only got three performances left and then Human Traffic will be gone forever. I would advise y'all to book as seats are selling fast.

Disclaimer:
Pia has nothing to do with the show and, to the best of my knowledge, is not related to, nor canoodling with, any of those involved. I have never even met her (but I did enjoy her fabulous work on "Pageant"). :-)
As Melissa pointed out, seats are going fast for this week's final three performances: "Human Traffic", Dec 3, 4, 5, starring Stephen Whiley, Adam Shuttleworth, Nisha Rivett, Gillian Alexy and Drew Elliot, with Nick McRobbie, Andrew Watson, Jemma Gurney, Tim Edwards, Nick Donald, Barry Carpenter, Simon Scott, Stuart Porter, Jeremy Malcom & Francie Jones.
