Hear ye, hear ye... on November 1, when it's Friday night and the lights are low (to paraphase Abba), head to the Old Mill Theatre in South Perth for a wee tipple or two. The Independent Theatre Association is hosting a sundowner where the drinks are much, much cheaper than pub prices and - rub-a-dub-dub - there's some free grub. Okay, so it's bar snacks but you don't see the pub across the road offering them for free, do you? So come one, come all. Relax, relax and get together and find out what's happening theatre-wise. Guess what? You can also talk to the ITA committee about what's making you happy, what doesn't please you and all the creamy in-betweens, too. Remember, it all kicks off 6.30pm, Friday, November 1. Come along and raise a glass, stubbie or whatever drinking vessel you may have.
