Tafe?

Hi, I wasn't sure which forum to post my question in but hoping someone can help me out. I'm at uni at the moment doing an academic degree but I want to defer so I can pursue my dream of working in theatre. I've applied to AIM but I saw that Tafe offers a certificate in Music Theatre. Tafe would definitely be more affordable than AIM (although AIM is my first choice). If I don't get into AIM, would Tafe be any good?
