Ive been looking at PAC workshops and the FTI short courses, but FTI is closed till may apparently, and PAC hasn't replied to my email as it is the "holiday break" :/ I dont mind waiting, but does anyone know what these are like? I also considered Frog Management classes, but someone told me they aren't very good in the 'teaching' area. I wondered what other options were available for a young adult (im 20)who has had some experience before, but not very experienced (done 'acting classes in perth' workshops and classes in 2010 back when it was 'screen actors online')and done a few extra roles in student films. As much as I enjoy screen, I also want to get into local theatre, and have applied for some audtitions, but Im worried because I dont have any experience (other than backstage) in theatre, I may need to do some theatre training first? Is it normal to turn up to an audition with no theatre experience or am I just going to embarrass myself? Anyway, does anyone know of any theatre classes or even screen classes they could recommend? I dont want to do a full course at this stage (eg Curtin) and would rather do some classes or workshops. Also, with PAC does anyone know the level of experience they require? Its for "experienced" actors apparently, but I dont know where I would fit into that definition...I wouldn't consider myself "experienced", but not necessarily a beginner either. Also, if anyone knows, whats the difference between the 'screen workshop' http://www.screenworkshop.com.au/sws1.asp by Annie Murtagh-Monks, Ben Young, and Ali Roberts, and the acting classes http://www.screenworkshop.com.au/stage.asp by Noel O'Neil? I asked this in the email...but alas...it is still unanswered... Thank you for your input and advice!
