Are you ready for the Old Mill Theatre’s night of nights? The second annual Milly Awards take to the stage on Friday, January 13, in a FREE action-packed, fun-filled night of entertainment and the razzle dazzle of awards. Following the success of the Old Mill Theatre’s in-house awards last year, they’re back bigger and better second time around. There will be excerpts from each 2011 show – Hamlet, Company, Amadeus, Life x 3, After Dinner and Daisy Pulls It Off – along with a barbershop quarter in the Constance Ord Room. Best Production, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Set, Best Costumes, Best Stage Manager and Best Lighting Design Awards will be given, as well as the Constance Ord Award, Silly Milly Award and the Gold Milly (Old Mill Member of the Year). Jarrod Buttery, Maree Grayden and Graeme Johnson have had the hard task of deciding on who should get this year’s accolades, adjudicating each production. If you’re coming along, please RSVP to 9367 8719 or oldmilltheatre@iinet.net.au for catering purposes. Remember, this a free event!
