After a five-week training course, aspiring actors are about to tread the boards, ready to deliver an evening of songs and entertaining monologues. For a gold coin donation, people can experience the latest up-and-coming talent from 7pm, Sunday, November 6, followed by drinks and nibbles in the Playlovers Theatre bar. Highly-experienced brother-and-sister team Martin and Amanda Crewes formed their In2Action company to help give potential actors a special insight into three main areas: acting, voice and movement. “This is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday evening with a bit of entertainment and chatting with other people in the acting world,” Amanda said. No bookings are necessary – but, for more information, email info@playlovers.org.au. Playlovers is located at Hackett Hall, Draper Street (off Underwood Avenue), Floreat.
