Fresh from her success of directing the multi-award-winning one-act play, Can't Stand Up for Falling Down, Jemma Gurney has organised a Play Reading by Blak Yak Theatre. A dozen or so of some of Perth's most talented actors (including Jenny & Eliot McCann, Ben Sorgiovanni, Julia Dalby, Troy Hall, Eddie Stowers, Tim Edwards and more) will get together to read (out loud) "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" this Friday, November 8, in Guildford. The venue is The Mechanics Institute, 20 Meadow St (home of many an Old Time Music Hall). The reading is FREE and open to all, and starts at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be available.

The purpose is to see how the play "reads" with the possibility of a 2003 production. None of the parts have been definitively cast, and if the production does go ahead, there will be auditions. We would love an audience for the reading and we're hoping for any constructive feedback. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about the play, or may be considering auditioning (if it goes ahead), or who'd just like to come along for a FREE evening's entertainment is more than welcome. If you need more details, don't hesitate to click on my name (above) and send me an email.

Did I mention entry is FREE?!

Cheers,
JB
