All genres catered for...
Tue, 22 Oct 2002, 06:41 pmHmm, there's been no gossip for a few days, so how about I remind everyone that there's only three more performances for Red Dwarf.
The play with something for everyone!
It's science fiction:
"The stasis room creates a static field of time. Just as X-rays can't pass through lead, time cannot penetrate a stasis field."
It's a romance:
"Or maybe we can get naked in the park and have our feet licked by an old Chinese man."
It's an action movie:
"I've just detected two super-lightspeed fighters, and they're tracking us."
It's a 70s porno:
"Sensual emergency! Good lovin' needed bad!"
It's a soap opera:
"Oh, you must know, I'm dying!"
It's a murder mystery:
"I just fed him into the waste grinder..."
It's a comedy:
"She wouldn't stop! It was like being trapped in a milking machine."
(sorry, that's a porno again)
And according to enthusiastic audiences and a couple of reviewers on this page, it's a damn good laugh. Remaining performances: October 23, 25, 26 at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre (20 minutes' drive from Perth). Bookings: 0500 52 52 59.
See you there!
