I apologise if this is in the wrong topic. Hello, My name is Bobby Le and I recently joined the Theatre Australia website yesterday. I joined, because I want to find some information in regards to having a successful acting career. I've done drama back in high school from years 9 to 12 in 2003-2008. In 2010, I've joined up a disability drama program, because I have mild autism. I've done a short course up in NIDA for the audition preparation and some drop in classes at both the ACTT and the Actors Centre for more experience. I may not have got the offer in NIDA, but it was worth the enjoyment and the fun. There are a few questions I want to ask. 1) There are many good drama schools like NIDA and others in Sydney, but I don't know which one to choose. I was thinking about going to either Sydney Theatre School or the ACTT, but I'm still not sure. Which one would you prefer? 2) When is the best time to go find an agent? Before, during or after you finish drama school? 3) Considering some threads in regards to good and bad agents like this one http://www.theatre.asn.au/green_room_gossip/extras_agencies, which was made 4 years ago, which agents should I join up and agents I should be staying away from as of now? Nice to meet you all and I wish to benefit from your advice. Thank you =)
