Re: Leo McKern
No. 2 refers to the role McKern played in the cult TV series "The Prisoner". Patrick McGoohan was "the new No 6"; hence the famous quote "Iam not a number! I am a Free Man!"
For further info (and to hear McKern's dulcet tones) listen to the Iron Maiden song "The Prisoner" on the album "Number of teh Beats".

Mr Bell -
You, good sir, are a cad! You heard me! A CAD!!!! HOW DARE YOU bring such a monumental event as the death or Mr. McKern down to your low level of squalid filth!!!!! I challenge you, Mr. Bell, to a duel to the DEATH in the Blue Room car park tonite when i come in to do (plug) STRIKE!/One Year Earlier at the Blue Room Theatre in Northbridge doors open @ 8.00 pm........
....... El, your knowledge of The Prisoner is impressive to say the least, and the reference to the Iron Maiden song as well.
There is also another Maiden tune featuring "Prisoneresque" references called "Back In The Village" on the Powerslave album.
We should probably have a drink someday..... at Milo's bar........
