A long long time ago

Might wanna check the date on that post there sport. Lovers and Executioners, while being a great production performed at the Subiaco Theatre Centre, happened in all its glory in 2002.

Better luck next time. Check the audition page of this website for some current less 2002 more 2006 productions.

Cheers

Re: A long long time ago

Hmmmm... Perhaps there is a need here for the less "up to date" postings to be culled from the site. This is not the first occasion when an error in timing like this has happened and I doubt it will be the last.
Would it not be beneficial to all if postings over say, 6 months old were removed?
Just an idea.... and if manpower is the problem for maintaining this.. then you have my email address... Contact me.

Thanks for the kind offer, Taurean.

Less up-to-date? I wonder what the definition would be? There are posts on here going back to February 1998.

http://theatre.asn.au/read.php?f=19&i=1&t=1

I think it might be a shame to lose this historical, and occasionally hysterical, record because the occasional visitor doesn't bother to read the date of the original posting.

:-)

The new version of the site - still under construction ten months later but gradually getting closer! - will automatically prevent people from responding to old messages after an arbitrary period of time. So we should be able to leave all the old content intact.

If you or anyone else out there has some PHP coding skills and might be prepared to spend a bit of time, that might mean we get this implemented sooner rather than later.

Thanks again for the kind offer.

Cheers
Grant

Re: An even longer time to go

Just a suggestion from left field, maybe we could have an archives section for posts more than six months old, and thus retain the history, but eliminate the confusion.
