casting

Hi all,
I am planning to direct a play called "Tap Dreams" over in Gosnells and wanted to know if anyone out there would be interested in being in a small community theatre play, as I am concerned I may not be able to cast it. I am looking for two women 18-30, but would love to hear from anyone else with advice or opinions on casting.

i am very interested in your play. i'm 21 and at E.C.U mt. Lawley and am always looking for a chance to perform.

Also the best way to let people know of auditions is to put them on the 'what's on' under 'auditions' for W.A. on this site. I know a large number of acting students use this site and are constantly checking for what auditions are on.

what is the play about? when are you hoping to rehearse and when are you looking for it to be performed?

Thankyou Lorraine and Alana for responding, it is so great to get some positive feedback. I will be advertising auditions asap but had to get the password first. The company is Acorn, the play is called "Tap Dreams", and the audition/reading should be in the first week in July. We are hoping to perform the play in September. The rehersal space is at the theatre in Gosnells and so far the rehersal nights would probably be Mondays and Wednesdays. That is all I can really say for now, so just keep an eye out on the auditions page
