Why not approach a company you have worked with/know and ask them to consider it. most companies would have committees that take suggestions from members for shows to consider. Or consider getting together with talented people you know and putting it on yourselves and forming your own company.
Just a thought, and after all something that has always been drummed into me, if you aren't being offered work and there is no work being created you want to be involved in then go ahead and create work that you want to be involved in.

i so agree! i believe Nick Enright is one of the most talented aussie authors ever and if you decide to do it let me know. have yo ever read Property of the Clan. it's by Enright but the original version of Blackrock. give it a read! i think it's better for stage then Blackrock. considering Enright originally adapted Property of the Clan to Blackrock for film.
