Did I miss something??
Thu, 7 Mar 2002, 01:56 pmI've just wandered back onto this page after many many months, thinking to myself 'Ooh yes! I'd love to do some theatre again!'. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there are many plays going at the moment. Did I just miss the major cattle call or something to that effect? Or will there be more auditions coming up soon? Come on people!! Give me something to do!!
Also, I noticed a large number of mostly male plays, particularly with Pear Shaped Theatre (nice to see new groups cropping up, though!), and Blak Yak's recent plays of 'Mojo' and 'Dead Poet's...' er I mean 'Carpe Diem'. Makes things difficult, especially knowing that directors will have (in most circumstances) more luck casting women over men. Is there anyone out there who is going to be putting on a play with _women_ in it?? Just curious! And if there are, please give me a buzz. I'm starting to go through withdrawals...
