As we draw ever nearer to the opening of Hamlet at the New Fortune Elizabethan Theatre, UWA, I thought I'd entice the users of this forum into a little parlour game.

The Hamlet publicity machine claims that this "one of the strongest community theatre casts ever assembled", and that, collectively, it represents almost every community theatre group in Perth.

Is this true?

Here are the names... you tell me:

Andrew Baker
Mark Blades
Fiona Blakeley
Zora Bryce
Conrad Crisafulli
Tim Collins
Dario Dalla Costa
Michael Dunbar
Lucas East
Craig Edwards
Peter Fry
Fred Lawson
Eliot McCann
Adam McGurk
David Meadows
Collin O'Brien
Tony Petani
Ben Sorgiovanni
Rob Stuart
Shirley Welch
Stephen Wiley

and Grant Malcolm directing.

Does this represent more groups than not?

You be the judge.

I wasn't aware that was being claimed.

And my sincere apologies to seven people that i never managed to get in touch with after the auditions. By the time Christmas came around and i hadn't managed to reach everyone, i figured people had probably given up on me. My apologies again regardless.

Cheers

RE: Hamlet parlour game

Does it really matter?I am sure it will not affect the show,it will be Grant's usual masterpiece, as it always is.It would still be a good show if it was full of "newbies".

I have better things to do with my time, like crotcheting doilies and reading the telephone book!

Thou villainous tickle-brained clack-dish!
