ITA Finley Awards Night
Mon, 17 Dec 2001, 09:57 amJust wanted to say congrats to the ITA for this years awards night - short and sweet! I thought the excerpts were great (not too long) and the presentations stylish! Thanks.
Personally (and of course only my opinion) I was disappointed Oedipus did not feature in the top 6 (was it top 10 last year? if so, why shorten the list? I don't think it hurts to have the extra nominations). Unfortunately I didn't see Emerald City or An Ideal Husband, but they must have been outstanding to have beaten Amadeus for the top two productions.
Congrats to the winners and organisers.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your kind words. It has certainly been the practice to announce "The Top 6 Plays" at least for the past two years. Prior to that, it all gets a bit hazy....
