brave new world
Leon,
a friend of mine who is a reformed alcoholic, and is now working with alcoholics anonymous, said the first step to recovery, is admitting to yourself that you have a problemm. It took him three marriages, and thirty years to do so. Your post here suggests you're smarter than that. I salute you for having the courage here, to make a public apology to the Melville crew, and wish you well in your quest to overcome your addiction.

Apology Accepted
Leon has apologised to me personally, and now publicly. I accept his apology and wish to state that I bear him no ill will. I sincerely hope that he does make a full recovery.
The role he was to have played has been taken over by Jeff Hansen. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to him for taking on a major role at such short notice, and with such good grace.
We have delayed the opening of the season of 'Absent Friends' by one week. We will now play for a two week season, opening on Thursday 30th April.
I would like to thank the other five members of the cast, and all at Melville Theatre for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
Sue Hayward.
