Management at backstagejobs.com.au announced today Friday 2nd January 2009 version 5 will be released early January.
Changes to Version 5 are :
New - Weekly Spotlight, focusing on a particular Featured Employer job; New - New look for homepage. Easier to locate job categories specific to the entertainment industry; Improved - Printing job details now prints the job only, not the unnecessary menu, side bars, images etc; Improved - Accessibility for vision impaired (screen reader) users - more feedback is sought from affected people; Improved - Featured Employer rotating banner (reduces the "slow down" some users experienced before);
Improved - Colour of text and backgrounds is now reversed on most pages, to reduce eye strain when reading text; Improved - Page download & display times on most pages; Changed - Page width reduced to display better on low screen resolutions; Removed - 3 categories from Mycareer.com.au and Careerone.com.au job listings, which were rarely searched or viewed; Removed - Internet Explorer 6 support. Please update or change your browser if you experience problems.
