Next year I would like to put on a production of "The Picture of Dorian Gray." I have read the adaption by John Osbourne and I am not satisfied with it, mainly because the picture is never seen by the audience. So I have decided to have a go at adapting it myself. I have some interesting ideas and would like the picture to be seen by the audience. I understand that having the picture hidden leaves everything up to the audiences imagination, but I think having the picture visible would have more impact.
Any views and advice would be much appreciated.

RE: The Picture of Dorian Gray

I say go for it Tim. As long as you truthful to Wilde's writting, go for it. As Ray said ' Differant is good '
