The Picture of Dorian Gray
Mon, 30 July 2001, 07:01 pmNext year I would like to put on a production of "The Picture of Dorian Gray." I have read the adaption by John Osbourne and I am not satisfied with it, mainly because the picture is never seen by the audience. So I have decided to have a go at adapting it myself. I have some interesting ideas and would like the picture to be seen by the audience. I understand that having the picture hidden leaves everything up to the audiences imagination, but I think having the picture visible would have more impact.
Any views and advice would be much appreciated.

Thankyou for the encouragement.
I have a lot of work to do and I don't plan to put it on until november next year and I will be holding auditions.
