Film auditions: 'Method Writing'
Mon, 2 July 2001, 04:38 pmAuditions will be held for the short film 'Method Writing' @ The Blue Room on July 9 & 10.
The film will be shot in late August, and is about Oscar, a frustrated writer who is desperate for inspiration. He discovers a cure for his writers' block in behaving like his main character in real life. The film follows his attempts to keep up with the demands this new method entails while trying to woo Celeste, a smart, free-spirited checkout girl with a hidden strength.
Roles Available: 2 leads (Male/Female).
There are also several minor roles with few lines, and we will be requiring a lot of extras; if you turn up we can guarantee you a part in the film.
All you need to do is prepare a 1-2 min monologue. You can choose anything you want from anywhere you want; a play, a film, anything. Just bring something you want to perform (There will be extracts from the script to be read too).
