FREE THEATRE - no, really
Mon, 2 July 2001, 02:35 pmAs some of you out there may know, Broken Limb Theatre Co. and Shakespearience (with generous support from the City of Perth and Healthway) are presenting the July Shakespeare Cycle at Rechabites Hall in Northbridge featuring 'Romeo and Juliet' from July 5th and 'Taming of the Shrew' from July 19th.
You may not know that the Sunday night performances (being the 8th and 22nd) are 100% FREE. That's right, free theatre! NO CATCH!
Now, you cannot book through BOCS for these free shows as you normally could for all the other shows in the July Shakespeare Cycle run - you just have to front up and grab a ticket when the doors open at 7.30 for the 8pm Sunday shows.
The FREE THEATRE policy is part of the commitment Broken Limb and Shakespearience are making to boosting awareness, accessability and enjoyment of Perth theatre. Why not take up our challenge and make one show in every run your company mounts a free one - just imagine the possible long term benefits to the Perth theatre scene!
See you at the shows!
