Having had a hectic few months since my last post, I'd like to thanks the wonderful and generous talent of Tony Moore who helped out with our very amature theatre by providing scripts for skits that went down an absolute TREAT with our rural community audience that had not seen a local performance for many years! We had a fuller than full house and people are still talking 7 months later! I'd also like to thank Chris Thomas for the script we were offered, but have not had a chance yet to present! Our Youth Drama Club has had a few hiccups in its initiation, but we are getting there! Our group is actually younger that anticipated, so we've had to modify our views of what to present! Its SUCH a pleasure to share a skill with others, to be able to provide a few hours of fun and drama for people who really appreciate you giving it a go! Our last productions most memorable moment was when our Town's 'Party Girl' (who was playing a male/hero in our panto) couldn't ever remember her lines, so wrote them on her hand- and read them during her moving Hero speech...and the Audience thought it was scripted that way....and laughed uproariously! Gotta love Amatuer Theatre Thank You for those who are so skilled and so happy to share their talent!
