Attention Haymanites 1999-2002ish

Hi Crew I didn't really know where to put this, but wanted to make it known. On our way down south the other night, we went to Man Lin Chinese at Karawara for dinner and saw a sign saying that they are closing after 22 years of business. The last day they are open is Saturday 7th June. I was minorly devastated at this news as I believe the Chan family have been running one of the best, if not THE best, Chinese restaurants in Perth (if anyone disagrees, it's really not worth arguing about, so please don't bother). Bummer that I haven't made it there often enough in recent years. I really just wanted to put it out there that if you enjoyed Chinese there while you were studying, and enjoyed student discount or 'friend of Crispian' discount, that it would be great to visit them again this week to make sure their last week of business is fabulous. When I spoke with one of the ladies, she said that the shopping centre had bought the restaurant, and had not yet decided what to do with it. Thanks for reading, Jess 2001 grad
