advice on good school in northern suburbs perth ???
Wed, 17 Oct 2007, 08:20 pmhi everyone
i am a mum of a 7 year old dancer , she is currently at impact dance factory and studies
tap
jazz
ballet
and acrobatics
she is a troupe member at the moment so she is at all the competitions we have here in perth and has travelled intrstate also
what im wondering is if this is the best dance school to have her inrolled in if she wants to a professional dancer when she is older ????
i have only herd good things about impact and they seem to do very well at comps.
any recomendations would be appreciated

dance school
I have been involved with Prompt Corner in the past, although not in one of their ballet performances, and they always seem to have a very high standard of performance.

Dance Schools
Have worked with Michelle Manning at Danceforce in Malaga over the years. In her younger years she toured much of Asia and beyond, Cruise ships and shows before returning here for shows and set up the studio to keep a high standard of dancers available for her to use in productions, etc... Contact me for a number if you like... :-)

advice on good school in northern suburbs perth ???
Hi dancers mum,
I think you are definately on the right track with Impact. I was a dancer for nearly 21yrs (before I had children of my own) and I know all the teachers from Impact. I actually used to teach for one of them. They are all wonderful and from the work I have seen around the place (telethon etc) they are doing a great job. They are also opening up some great opportunties with travelling eastern states (& overseas).
I am going to be sending my girls there next year (once they are old enough). The only other schools I would even consider are Gaile Meade, Jody Marshall, Dancearts and possibly Danceforce.
If she is unhappy then maybe consider moving but I definately think if you are on to a good thing and happy there then stay with it.
I hope this helps.
