Some Welcome Honesty from Harbour

I'd like to thank Harbour Theatre for their Audition notice for "Tilting Ground". After saying the play has three actors; a woman, her grown up son and her new husband, they then go on to say that TWO actors are required; male 20's, female 50's.

This may of course have been an error but if it's not, thank you for not wasting any actors time if the third part is not available. There's nothing worse than auditioning for a part you were never going to get for whatever reason. I think it is the height of respect to just be honest to begin with so we don't rock up and waste everyone's time, especially our own.

Hi Leah, I agree it's a waste of everybody's time to advertise a part is open for audition when it has already been precast and the director is absolutely sure that person is whom she wants for the part, which is the case with "The Tilting Ground". However, hope the two other parts will attract people to the audition. Have a look under "Auditions". Regards Sidsel
