"Umbral" is the first part of a project subtitled Travel Notes. It is a presentation which embraces the need to reflect on out creative journey, and be conscious of how much this journey has touched, impacted and in some cases transformed our lives.
It draws a map which contains the images, the encounters, the uncertainties, the dead-end alleyways of this extensive journey, permeable also to its effect and fragility.
A physical and verbal narrative that lends itself indeed to the topography that we call "theatre". It is sometimes nothing more than a small personal province within which to bring to life the two or three awakenings of the soul with which we have learned to give shape and feeling to our history.
