I want you all to bow your heads for a moment and send "break-a-leg" vibes to the cast and director of Act-o-Matic 3000's "Welcome to the Moon". The show has it's preview in the far fair city of Melbourne tonight and carries with it the hopes and dreams of Brett Whittingham, Richard Grimshaw, Cathy Kohlen, Johanna Wilson and the great Dan Walls; all ex-Perth-pats.

Tempting as it may be to send "Please-let-it-fail-miserabley-so you-all-realise-how-much-better-you-had-it-in-Perth-and-come home-to-help-re-vitalise-our-Theatre-scene" vibes instead, they've all worked very hard and are an extrodinarily talented bunch of people who deserve a sucess.

And one day you may need to crash on their Melbourne living room floors.

So good luck guys, I'll sure you'll be wonderful.

RE: BIG LEG BREAKING!!!

In your much-hyphened quotation you neglected to add "......and-fill-Leah's-house-with-joy-and-happiness-and-much-rumpy-pumpy".
Fractured forelocks to all concerned.

RE: BIG LEG BREAKING!!!

Ewww. I'm not sure I want to visualise Brett Whittingham, Richard Grimshaw, Cathy Kohlen, Johanna Wilson and the great Dan Walls filling up Leah's modest loungeroom with "much-rumpy-pumpy". Although it'd be fun to see Leah's face when she arrived home from work and walked in on them...

Here's hoping they're all expending more effort in producing a really fabulous show. Have fun guys.

By all accounts (which I admit are all their own) opening night went swimmingly and the season is rolling along nicely. If anyone has people in Melbourne direct them to Chapel off Chapel over the next two weeks!

RE: BIG LEG BREAKING!!!

Hello All!
Well, thanks very much for your well wishes and in summary, it did go well. Some nights were even sold out, which is especially gratifying when you don't know the audience personally. The feedback was good, Chapel off Chapel were happy and all us mostly ex-pat Perthies had a good time with it. Now we're looking forward to doing it all again. Except with a different script, obviously.
And Dean, thanks for the call. When I told Grimmo about it, I noticed a strange sparkle in his eye and he said to say 'Hi...'
