We are looking for information on how to obtain the script for "Steel Magnolias". Would anyone out there be able to point us in the right direction??

Thanks

RE: Seeking Script

Hi again Sheelagh,
Bronwyns' choice of Steel Magnolias as an upcoming production is most pleasing. I had the good fortune of being involved with The Old Mill Theatre production of the play some time ago and must confess that it has been the most poignent and emotional theatrical production that I have ever seen.
The five extremely talented women who played their roles so well had me in tears at most rehearsals ( needless to say whilst I was going about my set building activities ).
At times I had to bow to the directors ( Warrick ) wishes and cease my noisy activities, which gave me chance to blow my nose and brush away the tears.
Should it be a goer get involved yourself as you would enjoy the experience, it really is wonderful theatre.
I have photo's of the set I built which would work well with your theatres' stage, bearing in mind the more realistic the setup the better ( i'll run it past Joe to see if can come down and do the electrics/plumbing, any excuse to come to see you all again).
Anyway give Warrick a call if you have problems obtaining a script as i'm sure he would have a copy and if required I know he would be more than willing to offer any help or advice requested.
Best wishes for now and good luck to you all,
Robert
