We Are Family:
is a twenty one week community theatre workshop directed by Glenn Hayden and produced by deckchair theatre company in Fremantle WA.

Up to thirty young women (14 - 24) are invited to join us to be part of creating a new Australian play looking at the celebrations, hardships and bravery of teenage pregnancy.

A workshop audition will be held on April 28th at Victoria hall on High street Freo at 2pm.

If you would like to be part af this major event in the deckchair 'SENSATE' season, we need actors, singers, musicians, visual artists, crew, or just come down and share your stories.

The project has been running for five weeks and a smaller group of young women have been working with director Glenn Hayden and writer Francis D Italiano to create the structure of the piece.

We Are Family is based on 'Creating Theatre' which was created by lenn, Timothy McGarry and sandie Eldridge and has been succesfully produced around Australia for the past several years.

Creating theatre was developed to offer members and groups from the community a safe non-judgemental arena to create topical theatre of the highest standard by working with theatre professionals and mentors.

We are Family is shaping up to be a beautiful play and we welcome all young women to come to the auditions for stage two.

Cheers
Glenn Hayden
