Excuse my blatant use of sex to get your attention but with so much great theatre on at the moment (and "Are you being served") we were feeling, well, a little lost.

We are very proud of our little Blue Room show (I have no mouth but I must scream) and it has come to our attention that some people are not coming because they think the plays are heavy/ too political/ irrelevant. Well political, yes they are, but not overtlyrantingraveinginyourface so.

Heavy? No. They are actually quite funny! The second of the three especially so.

Irrelevant? A non Argentinian audience can enjoy them on their own merits. A knowledge of the background only enriches the experience

These are three extremely moving, beautiful plays which are unlike anything I've seen before.

And remember TEN DOLLAR TICKETS for all ITA website readers! Blue Room @8pm till next Saturday

So come and see the plays that the West Australian said "failed to move or enlighten us" and remember why we have the best critics in the world in Perth. (ooops sorry a bit too much sarcasm there)

Cheers

If it was good enough for R+J, why not screaming Argentinians?

;-)

hehe

Check out the review for AYBS? at The West:

"...the stalls were literally groaning with cheesey jokes and stale puns."

"Everyone else is either up themselves, up one another, or trying to be. "

"Love it or loathe it, the cast do a sound job of reviving a cult piece that has a following out there, somewhere."

I missed the West's review of I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream, but a response here would probably reach more potential audience members than any midweek column in the daily rag.

:-)

Cheers
Grant
