IRISH THEATRE HITS KALAMUNDA!

The Studio & Members of The Irish Theatre Players are venturing out of The Irish Club in Subiaco and coming to the hills for one weekend only.

Step into The Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre and come on a journey to Donnegal, Ireland.
The play stars Catherine McStravick from Northern Ireland, Co Armagh, Noel O'Neill from Cork and Cory Jones (not from Ireland but has done so many Irish plays we hear he's up for Irish Citizenship!).
All three actors have performed many productions with The Irish Theatre Players and are regular faces in the Irish theatre scene, professional and independant.
During the interval enjoy some famous Irish craic, friendly Irish company (if you see Joe on the door he's sure to have a joke or two for you), listen to beautiful Celtic tunes and feast on our home made Irish soda bread.

The play is MOLLY SWEENEY by Brian Friel. Set in remote Ballybeg, Donnegal. Molly Sweeney is blind, her husband Frank is trying to save the world, while her doctor is trying to save his career. Healing Molly Sweeney becomes the perfect cure.An emotional play unfolds as they relive their inspiring story.
