Directing Symposium
Mon, 26 Mar 2001, 03:56 amLaMaMa Umbria International is sponsoring an International Symposium for Directors (Choreographers and Actors also welcome) in Spoleto, Italy this summer. Professional directors will attend workshops conducted by world renowned artists such as Anne Bogart, Ong Keng Sen, Ayla Algan, Jean-Guy Lecat and others. It takes place July 13-30 and registration is limited. Everyone lives at LaMaMa Umbria, this beautiful villa in the hills outside Spoleto. Meals prepared by a gourmet chef are included. Also included are tickets to performances at the Spoleto Festival and other nearby events. Tours to Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto are also included. Looks like a fascinating fortnight for those with a fortune to spend or a pipeline to a funding source or sponsor!
"The admission fee for participants is US$ 2,800. Fee includes all workshops, housing and meals for 17 days, ground transportation from the Rome airport to and from LaMaMa Umbria, excursions including one ticket to a performance at the Spoleto Festival, entrance fees to museums and other points of interest. Airfare is not included in the price."
