CHICAGO at the BRIDGE
Wed, 21 Mar 2001, 09:40 amThe time has come!
This Friday sees the opening of the second season of CHICAGO, this time at the Bridge Theatre, Northbridge (cnr Beaufort and Aberdeen St.). The show starts at 7:30pm and tickets are available at the door for $17 (adult) $16 (conc) $15 (group 10+). The show has been revised and revamped with an incredible new cast. With only three shows scheduled on the 23rd, 24th and 25th, there are only a few chances to see this fabulous show before it disappears for good.
If you missed it last time, you certainly do not want to miss out again! CHICAGO@THE BRIDGE!

RE: CHICAGO at the BRIDGE
I'm just writing to say that I saw, and worked on back stage, Chicago in West Australia and it is a brilliant play
It is well worth the trip to see. Congratulations Act one Scene one.

RE: CHICAGO at the BRIDGE
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I happened to see the final dress rehearsal for this show last night, and it is amazing. For a theatre company so young to produce a show that rivals - if not, betters - all other amateur shows in Perth is brilliant. If you were staying away because 'Youth theatre, blah blah blah, usually mediocre, blah blah blah' then kick yourselves in the proverbial as you will be surprised by what these people do. The talent, tightness, and yes 'vibrant enthusiasm' is an absolute pleasure to be a part of. However it is only for three nights so be quick. If you are with an 'established' club, maybe it is time to see what the others are doing... Hurry!!

I unfortunately did not see Act One Scene One's first season of CHICAGO or have been able to get a sneek peek at their new season but I will whole heartedly agree and implore you to get along to see this show. (NOT taking any credit...) The theatre company and some of the cast are some of my ex-students...I should say very talented, committed and enthusiastic students and if their work from two years ago in class is any thing to go on, this show will be nothing short of brilliance. Congratulations to Grant, Julia and Alicia - you are stars! Hope to see you there!

Assassins was incredible, loved the storyline and thought that everyone who took part deserved all the praise that the show got, especially Clayton Zwanenburg. his portrayal of Melvin p thorpe was incredible and deserved a mention!!

Cynthia fenton in Assassins was amazing, her performance blew me away. but i was shocked at the performance given by Clayton Zwanenberg (not sure of spelling, sorry). i also caught him in , i think it was Best Little whorehouse and had o say that the man clearly has alot of talent to be on the stage. congratulations!
